On Monday, May 6, the 沃拉沃拉大学 校董会 unanimously elected Dr. Alex Bryan, to become 沃拉沃拉大学’s 24th 总统.

For 13 years Bryan served as a pastor in Georgia and 田纳西州essee before joining the 沃拉沃拉大学 Church (College Place, 洗.)担任主任牧师. In 2013, he became 总统 of Kettering College (Ohio) for one year, and then returned to 沃拉沃拉大学 Church to serve as senior pastor another four years.
In 2018, Bryan joined Adventist 健康 (Roseville, Calif.), where he now serves as senior vice 总统 and chief mission officer, leading strategy and discourse about ethics, 与使命一致, 精神上的关心, 与信仰团体的关系, 全球使命, 医疗保健的神学基础, and also overseeing philanthropy and grants initiatives.
Over the past 16 years Bryan has served as adjunct professor teaching theology, 业务, 沟通, and honors studies at numerous Seventh-day Adventist universities. Bryan earned bachelor of arts degrees in history and religion from Southern Adventist University (Collegedale, 田纳西州.), a master of divinity degree from Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Mich.), a doctor of ministry degree from George Fox University (Newberg, Ore.), and a master of science degree in bioethics from Albany Medical College (Albany, N.Y.).
